What will you learn?
In this six-week series, you'll learn the fundamentals of pole dance, getting comfortable with your walks, body and leg waves, basic spins, pirouettes, and building the strength and conditioning to climb and sit.
Why a series rather than drop-in classes?
The Emerge series is cohort-based, so you'll be learning with the same group of dancers each week, with the same instructor. This allows the instructor to guide the group through new techniques in a structured way, so that each week builds on the previous session - by the end of the series, you’ll have a deeper foundation than you would have gotten from six randomly selected Intro to Pole classes. You’ll also get to know the other dancers in your class and start to form community while developing your movement style as well as your pole vocabulary.
